How do I apply for a grant?
Applicants must complete and submit a letter of inquiry which will be reviewed monthly. You will
be notified by mail or e-mail if the AEF is interested in considering a formal proposal and specific
instructions on the formal application process.
Who is eligible to apply for a grant?
Individuals, groups and organizations that have an interest in improving education in the Arlington
School District.
Does the AEF have an application deadline?
Yes. Funding schedules will be determined during the formal application process.

Are there any specific geographic restrictions?
Proposals must benefit the Arlington School District.
Does the AEF provide general operating grants?
No.
If my project is not selected for funding will I need to apply again for future funding cycles?
Yes, you will need to apply again.

Yes, all grant applicants will be contacted following the Board's selection.

Yes, upon request, the Board will respond to inquiries regarding the selection process.
